Our property features two houses, the historic Victorian Rose and the newer Blue Hyacinth. We are located in the historic railroad district, near downtown Ashland. The Plaza, downtown shops, theaters, Food Co-Op and galleries on A-street are less than half a mile away.  Both homes are furnished with quality, comfortable furniture and high end linens and towels. 

 

All accommodations have well equipped kitchen or kitchenette. Each unit also has its own porch or patio, to enjoy morning coffee or evening wine - or to just relax with friends and family.

 

 

2 BDRM-2BATH Cottage in the Victorian Rose

The Victorian Rose is a luxurious, charming cottage, housed on the first floor of the historic home on the property. There are two bedrooms, each with a queen bed. A queen sleeper sofa in the living room adds additional sleeping for two.  One of the bathrooms is attached to a bedroom and has a walk in shower. The second  bathroom has been renovated recently and has a combination tub-shower. The expansive kitchen, also newly renovated, is fully stocked to prepare elaborate or simple meals for family and friends. Enjoy coffee or a glass of wine on the front porch or the back patio while looking out at the gardens, or step out to the Ashland Food Co-op, neighborhood restaurants and bakeries. All living areas are on the first floor. We provide fine linen and towels for the use of our guests. Books, internet/wi-fi and cable TV are provided as well. The Victorian Rose was built in 1901, in the Folk Victorian style. Enjoy morning coffee on the private front porch and/or dine under the stars on the private back patio. The fully stocked kitchen lends itself to simple or sumptuous meals or you can walk to Ashland’s finest restaurants on A-Street, 4th Street and Downtown.
